Clear Cast Perspex...

Diasec is normally faced with 3mm clear cast Perspex. Five times stronger than ordinary float glass with superior light transmission, the most popular choice selected by our clients. It is also available in 4 and 5mm on request.


Clear Cast Perspex with UV Seal...

In appearance there is no difference to the lone Perspex version. The UV Seal is applied where an inkjet medium will need protection from the Diasec Gel “washing” the image away.


Extruded anti glare Perspex (Oxar)...

Superb for a low reflect option. Etched on one side to a satin type finish, no loss of clarity is suffered by the image. On a more technical note this material is extruded not cast.


Polycarbonate...

Used only where fire rated products are essential for compliance with Health & Safety policies. Polycarbonate is not our preferred choice for Diasec as clarity can be slightly impaired.


Anti abrasion UV Acrylic...

With an anti abrasion and anti static coating on the outside, UV filtration of up to 100%. A slightly more expensive product but one that ticks all the boxes!


Clear Cast UV Perspex (VA Grade)...

Offers a 98% UV filter in addition to the Diasec protection already supplied. Used for pure museum grade applications where quoted percentage figures are a mandatory requirement.

The filter is built into the material itself so there is no coating or coloured sheen on the surface.


Opal Perspex...

A white translucent material used when the image is to be presented within a light-box and illuminated from behind.


Dry Mount onto 1.5mm Aluminium...

Basic, yet classic Dry mount onto 1.5mm Aluminium sheet. The ultimate substrate for mounting photographic works, out performing composite materials with its perfectly smooth flat surface. Ready for a traditional picture frame if required. 2mm Aluminium is also available for large images.


Dry Mount onto 1.5mm Aluminium with UV Seal...

Some works require a UV seal in addition to being dry mounted. The seal will do as it says, block out harmful ultra violet light, which will eventually discolour and fade works. The great thing with a seal is that it also makes the image wipe-clean, if you wish, you can also hang the artwork using one of our custom made Aluminium sub-frames. This is the perfect alternative to using a traditionally made picture frame.


Custom made to measure Aluminium Sub-frames...

Our bespoke sub-frames are tailor made for each picture. Bonded to the aluminium back plate with an acrylic based adhesive, which strengthens over time. Once hung in place, the image appears to float away 2 cm from the wall with no obvious visible means of support.
